Zoom to region ​

A zoom glides into part of the recording, holds, then glides back out.

Steps ​

  1. Select a device scene and open the Overlays tab.
  2. Under Zooms, click Add zoom. It starts at the current time.
  3. Drag on the preview to draw the part of the recording to zoom into. Move or resize it with the handles. While a zoom is selected, the preview shows the whole recording so you can draw on it.
  4. Choose how it zooms:
    • Camera moves the whole device in, and pins go with it.
    • Inside the screen keeps the device still and zooms only the recording.
  5. Set the timing: Starts at, Zoom in, Hold and Zoom out. A zoom out of 0 stays zoomed to the end of the scene.
  6. Click Done under the preview.

Tips ​

  • Zooms work on device scenes. Make the scene longer if there is no room for another zoom.
  • Pins placed on the recording stay on their spot while the camera zooms.
  • Free includes one zoom per reel. Pro and Agency have unlimited zooms.
