Feature callouts
Overlays sit above the device and below the caption: feature lists, pins, icon cards and counters.
The four kinds
| Overlay | What it shows | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Feature list | Items that fly in one by one, with icons. | All plans |
| Pin | A dot on the recording with a label and a line. | Pro and up |
| Icon card | An icon with a title and a line of text. | Pro and up |
| Counter | A number that counts up, like 10,000+ happy users. | Pro and up |
Steps
- Select a scene and open the Overlays tab.
- Click Add and choose a kind.
- Under Placement, choose where it sits: automatically beside the device, on the recording (it follows the device as it moves and zooms), or fixed on the frame.
- For a pin, click Points at, then click the spot on the recording in the preview. You can also drag the dot.
- Set when it appears with Starts at and Ends at, or tick Until the scene ends.
Tips
- Drag an overlay on the preview to fine tune its place.
- Pins pulse gently by default. Turn off Pulse for a calmer look.
- Counters can have text before and after the number (like $ or +), decimals and thousands separators.
